Blue Lagoon
Lately, I've often found myself dreaming about beautiful wilderness and about deserted island somewhere far-far away. Probably too often.
One morning I woke up, packed my camera and threw on my so-loved baseball shirt and we drove off. After only taking highways and seeing big touristic cities, we found ourselved driving completely off-road for 8 km or so. 20cm from edge of the cliff, crossing mountains and hoping to find that Blue Lagoon( yes, it's the actual name of this place!) somewhere at the end of this insane roadtrip. I was too scared to even look out the window, but excited and happy.
Blue Lagoon was breathtaking. Complete quiet. No people ( except that fisherman with his five and caravan). Warmest and clearest water I've possibly ever dipped myself in.
Sitting on wild coral rocks edge in 50 cm depth and jumping into 10 and more meters depth feels incredible.
Time pretty much stopped there. For a little, I felt like I found that island- quiet, piece and beauty , that I've been dreaming about these days.
