Ja nii sünnibki kanga print..+ projekti kirjeldus

Veel väikene tükike käesolevast projektist- nii sünnibki siis print kangale. Mõtlesin ja valisin tükk aega kas lähen kangale ise käsitsi külge või teen digitaalse prindi nagu me teeme seda McQueenis..ja otsustasin rakendada õpitut ja läksin siis seda teed! Asi pole veel kaugeltki valmis ja jube keeruline on panna kokku ja meisterdada valmis neid traditsioonilisi vene mustreid. Üritan selle täna valmis saada, et homme hommikul trükki viia ja siis loodetavasti saan reede pärastlõunal juba õmblema hakata!  wish me luck cupcakes:)

Project Title: ‘Indecisive Memento’ Page 1

Unit Summary

This project is designed to develop your drawing and illustrative skills, working from observation. You will be encouraged to experiment with a variety of materials, to include wet and dry media, handling of colour and use of collage. You will also explore the relationship of an image to the format of a page, variations of layout, and ways of combining image and text.

The research work to be carried out below includes the gathering together of source material relevant to the given theme. This will be needed as a basis for design development ideas, applying the illustrative approaches you are being taught in the studio.

Outcomes and Assessment Criteria

A range of drawing and visualising materials and techniques to support the development of design solutions, appropriate drawing and visualising methods to record and communicate design ideas and information at various stages of development and effective use of visual

and graphic language to communicate design intentions.

Content – preparation

During the vacation you are asked to carry out research and preparation to use next term when you will focus on design development and fashion outcomes. The starting point is both personal and specific and a successful outcome to the next project is dependant on the range and quality of this initial research.

Choose ONE of the following;

Think carefully about the person you choose because they will influence your subsequent research, design thinking and project direction:

• family member

• friend
• partner

Consider their relationship with the following :

• Memories -past and present

• Events -public and private
  Encounters

• Rituals and habits
• Interests and characteristics

Gather images, photocopies, photographs, old drawings, objects, garments and fabrics. Observational drawings form a vital part of your research.


Choose 3 colours that best exemplify your chosen subject.

• Prepare papers, textures/ rubbings in these selected colours for use in the studio
